Health insurance FAQs.
Common questions we hear — asked by real people, answered without jargon.
How much does your advice cost?+
Nothing. Carriers pay us directly when you enroll — your premium is the same whether you enroll with us or on your own.
Do you represent every insurance carrier?+
No advisor does. We work with a broad set of carriers across the states we're licensed in, and we're transparent when a plan we can't offer might fit better.
Can I get coverage outside Open Enrollment?+
Often yes. A qualifying life event (job loss, marriage, new baby, moving states) opens a Special Enrollment Period on the marketplace. Some private and short-term plans issue year-round.
Will my current doctors be in-network?+
We check each plan's provider directory against the doctors and hospitals you tell us about before you enroll.
What's the difference between ACA (marketplace) and private plans?+
ACA marketplace plans can use premium tax credits if your income qualifies. Private (off-exchange) plans skip subsidies but can offer broader PPO networks and year-round enrollment.
What is a deductible?+
A deductible is the amount you pay for covered services in a plan year before your insurance starts to pay. See our guide for a plain-English breakdown.
Is my information safe?+
We only collect what's needed, never sell your data, and use industry-standard protections. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do you guarantee I'll get approved or save money?+
No honest advisor can. Eligibility, pricing, and underwriting vary by carrier and situation. We show you what's actually available and what it will actually cost you.
